The closest major airport is Oakland International Airport, located in Oakland, CA, at a distance of 9 miles from the city center of Moraga, CA.
Previous visitors say that getting around in Moraga is easy, as long as you have a car. However, there are a few public transportation options that are great, if you're on a budget, during your stay in the city, such as the County Connection buses (CCCTA), which provides fixed routes to Moraga, Lafayette, Clayton, Concord, Pleasant Hill and several other nearby communities, or the taxi services, which are convenient, for short distance travels in the city (however, it is not the cheapest option to get around in Moraga).
The CCCTA buses operate between 5 30 am to 9 30 pm, from Monday through Saturday, also offering limited services on Sundays. However, the buses do not operate on several holidays such as New Year's Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day or Labor Day, and of course, on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
